Stages Development Human Embryo

The Qur'an becomes a book that inspires every believer who has the will to prove what is in it. The Word of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى is indeed a beautifully meaningful strands of words, can be studied scientifically and seek proof of its truth.

"A verse in a sura in the Qur'an,
providing information to humans. one of the advantages of the Qur'an is, from a verse in the Alur'an can be interpreted oelh various points of view, depending on the scientific discipline of The interpreter."

After we discuss: "The theory of DNA according to the Qur'an", Let us discuss more in-depth information in the Qur'an from the point of view of modern biological science. We discussed further about "the couple in themselves", how the Qur'an discusses further that from this "couple" formed a life.

6. He created you from one after another He made her his wife and He sent for you eight pairs of livestock. He made you in your mother's tummy of events for the sake of the events in three darkness. That is God, your Lord, the Lord who has a kingdom. There is no god but Him; then how can you be turned away?
QS. Az-Zumar (39) : 6

He created you from one after another  (a self) - [ khalaqakum min nafsinwahidatin ], the meaning of the word is "He created you from the one breath". [Nafsin] here can mean breath, or soul, or it refers to something alive.

In this case, [nafsin wahidatin] can be interpreted also as a single breath / single Cell. Why [ nafsin wahidatin ] ? Because the term "cell" or "/ cell /" is not known at the time and place when this verse was revealed.

Fertilization

Then He made him his wife - [tsumma ja'ala minha zawjaha], the closest meaning of the word is "then He made it of his partner." [Zawjaha] here means : spouse, can be either: wife, husband, or whatever is a couple.
In a single cell that will become the forerunner of humans, God becomes a diploid cell, that is
cells that have "pairs". The couple here are the chromosomes. This single cell is then called by the name: zygote or single cell diploid.

Continuity of the verse that has the closest meaning: ....
"And He sent for you eight pairs of cattle" - [wa-anzala lakum mina l-an'ami tsamaniyata azwajin], is "and He sent for you from the cattle of eight in pairs".
If we look more deeply in this verse 39 of Surah Az-Zumar, from the beginning of the verse to the end of the verse, tells us about "human formation". There is a fundamental question, why suddenly God told of "eight pairs of livestock"? Does God's purpose tell it in the middle of the verse that tells of "the creation of human"?
[An'am] in Arabic means cattle or something that is proliferated, a living being multiplied for the benefit of humans.
[Azwajin] or couple, in the context of the human self can mean the "base" pair in DNA / RNA.
Therefore [tsamaniyata azwajin] can be translated as "eight base pairs", and the word [al-an'am] in the verse we can refer to: DNA / RNA, which is reproduced because DNA / RNA is very important living things.

Our next question is:
"Why use the term [al-an'am] that refers to DNA / RNA?" Because at the time of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, when the Qur'an was revealed, natural science, especially biological science had not yet existed, so the term DNA / RNA had not been known at the time.
This verse, if we interpret it as it is written: "eight pairs of livestock". There are some who interpret the camels, cows, goats and sheep each pair. Back again as we mentioned above, it depends on the discipline of the scholar of the interpreter.

But in relation to human formation [al-an'ami tsamaniyata azwajin] means DNA / RNA (reproduced) which has eight types of base pairs.

Furthermore, the translated verse: "He made you in the belly of your mother's event for the sake of the incident" - [yakhluqukum fi butuni ummahatikum khalqan min ba'di khalqin], the closest meaning of the word is: "He made you in the womb of your mother's creation from after creation" [khalqan min ba'di khalqin], 'creation from after creation': indicates The Existence of Replication.

Cell Division and the Cell Cycle

DNA / RNA replication, in which each DNA and RNA replicates itself, each cell divides into many cells, a form of creation stage so that eventually from a single cell to more than 200 billion cells forming a perfect organ in a child within nine months in his mother's womb.

" Now, there are still views of some people, that the Qur'an is not in line with science. Notice how in a brief verse Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى explains Us, that human formation is very clear and can be proved by modern science. "

Furthermore, In the three darkness - [fi zulumatin tsalatsin], the meaning of the word: "in the darkness of the three". The formation of the fetus in the womb, according to modern science today, consists of three stages, namely:

  •  The pre-embryonic phase, in which the zygote divides and when it becomes a "cell cluster," the cell sinks itself into the uterine wall while continuing to divide. In this stage the cells form three layers: ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm.
  • The "Embrionic" phase, occurs for about five and a half weeks, in which the infant is referred to as the Embryo. At this stage, the basic organs and body systems begin to form from the cell layers based on DNA / RNA formation in the cell.
  • The phase "Foetal", when entering this phase, the embryo is named with: Foetus, where "fetus" in this phase is shaped like a human, with its face, hands and feet beginning to appear. Although initially only has a length of 3 cm, all the organs of the body has been seen clearly. This phase lasts until the prospective baby is ready to be born.
The three phases above, in the Qur'an are termed as [zulumatin tsalatsin] - mean: three darkness, formed from a collection of self-cleavage cells from the zygote, which also form three layers of cells: ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm.

More information about DNA / RNA in the Qur'an, Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى  explains in sura 'Abasa (80) as follows:

١٨  مِنْ أَيِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُ
18. From what did God create it?

١٩  مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ خَلَقَهُ فَقَدَّرَهُ
19. From a drop of semen, God created it and determined it.

٢٠  ثُمَّ السَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُ
20. Then He made his way easier.
QS. 'Abasa (80) : 18-20

Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى  created it and determined it [faqaddarahu], Qadar in Arabic when translated has the closest meaning: determining, planning, setting, composing, and in contemporary language can be interpreted as "programming".

All information about physical and human nature is stored in DNA and RNA. DNA and RNA have had this information since the zygote stage, when conception takes place. It is this information which, at an early stage, becomes the reference for fetal cells to develop into complete organs, which will ultimately affect the overall physical form and basic properties of a human being.
Everything has been programmed very sophisticated and determined since conception takes place and when the zygote is formed.

If it is associated with the Surah An-Nisa '(4) in the verse:

١١٧  إِنْ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ إِلَّا إِنَاثًا وَإِنْ يَدْعُونَ إِلَّا شَيْطَانًا مَرِيدًا
117. Those whom they worshiped besides Allah, are none other than idols, and (by worshiping the idols) they are nothing but worshiping the disobedient devils,

١١٨  لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ ۘ وَقَالَ لَأَتَّخِذَنَّ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ نَصِيبًا مَفْرُوضًا
118. which Allah cursed, and the devil said: "I will take from your servants the appointed portion (for me),

119. and I will certainly lead them astray, and will awaken their empty dreams and send them (cutting off the ears of the cattle), then they will cut them off, and I will order them (change the creation of Allah), then really they change it. "Whoever makes the devil a protector other than Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى, then he actually suffered a real loss
QS. An-Nisa' (4) 117-119

The word [al-an'am] in sura Az-Zumar (39) verse 6 with "God's creation" can be attributed to DNA/RNA, so in An-Nisaa (4) verse 119 above, the word [adzana l- an'ami] can be translated in the closest sense: information from DNA/RNA.
[Adzan] in Arabic, according to Arabic-English Lane's Lexicon page 42, besides means: ear, can also mean: information, announcement, notification or knowledge.
In relation to DNA/RNA, the most appropriate equivalent of words is "information".

The development of modern science, has produced the science of genetic engineering. Although mutations have good effects, most mutations have negative effects and in many cases alter the physical shape and nature of genetically modified living things. This logic is in line with the prohibition of marrying fellow muhrim in Islamic Marriage Law. Where marriage with others close to their genetic relationships is more likely to result in a negative effect (the occurrence of physical disability) of the baby from the marriage, in many cases.

" Mahram (Arab: محرم) are all people who are forbidden to be married forever because of heredity, dairy and marriage in Islamic law. Muslims in Southeast Asia are often wrong in using this term mahram with the word muhrim, in fact the word muhrim has another meaning. In Arabic, the word muhrim (muhrimun) means the person who berihram in the pilgrimage before doing tahallul. While the word mahram (mahramun) means people who are our opposite sex, but forbidden (haram) we marry temporarily or forever."

٤  لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ
4 We created man in the best possible form.
QS. At-Tin (95) : 4

The fruit of "Tin" is said to be the fruit of heaven. .

The "Tin" fruit, often referred to as Ficus carica, which is included in the Muslim Scriptures beside olives, is mentioned by the result of the latest medical experiment as one of the best fruits to prevent cancer. The fruit is big like a fruit kelengkeng that is rich in calcium and potassium and contains enzyaldehyde substances that function against cancer cells.
